Here’s a well known quote from the Lord of Life himself, Jesus.
“The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
The first part of the verse tells us that we have an enemy who’s only job and intent is to suck the life out of us.
The second part of the verse lets us know that God cares about that problem and decided to come and BE the remedy. He has provided LIFE and he said that we can have it more abundantly – more abundantly than we have imagined I would say. He loves us so much and offers this life to us every moment of every day.
But the very real and sobering truth is that we are constantly engaged in a life-draining battle that our enemy the devil is working full time to force upon us.
So what does it take, then, to actually access and live in that abundant life Jesus came to give us?
3 things:
- Abiding in Christ – keeping Jesus first at the center of everything
- 5 to Thrive – what it takes to survive and thrive as a human being
- Mining Your Treasure – discovering your unique identity and calling and living that out in all areas of life
