A true act of goodwill always sparks another.

Dear friends,

On this, the first day of the new year 2020, my thoughts are focusing on the impact of our acts of goodwill.

Before Christmas we spent a weekend with our youngest son Steve and his wife Rachel in Fayetteville, AR. One night we watched an animated Christmas movie called Klaus.

The story was about a town of people who held years of grudges, were polarized by what they were against and energized by what they disliked about each other.

The truth is, we never win by trying to destroy who or what we’re against, we win by nurturing who and what we love!

The story of Klaus is about getting over grief, loss and ill-will towards one another by choosing to offer an act of goodwill, then another and another.

The moral of the story?

A true act of goodwill always sparks another.

As you step into this new year, I urge you to think about what act of goodwill, kindness and love might you do to start the snowball of goodwill rolling. Before you know it, it might be an avalanche!

“Peace on earth and goodwill toward men” is something we receive from God and then give to others by DOING something good.

Have fun with it.

And Happy New Year!

Warmly,

Terri
