While the world scratches and claws for opportunity, adoration opens portals no striving ever could. When God becomes our quiet preoccupation, we find ourselves standing before the right doors at the right times-and we walk through them, not with frenzy, but with the poise of those whose hearts have been prepared for the assignment.
Training in Neurotheology
Integrate sound biblical theology with insights from neuroscience, drawing on Michael’s work with neurotheology expert and colleague Dr. E. James Wilder. Shift from information-based to experience-based learning. Consider this example of the Facets of God’s Nature:
“The LORD make His face (panim) shine upon you …” Num. 6:25
In ancient Hebrew, the word for “face” (panim) is always plural-there is no singular form. From infancy, we’re wired for facial recognition; even newborns discern the presence and emotions of others. Likewise, God relates to us through many “faces” of His radiant presence. Each carries guidance, emotion, and intent. Ask Him to open the eyes of your heart to perceive which “face” He’s revealing now. Divine direction is often found in the expression of His gaze.

Cultivate authentic joy, build strong relationships, overcome fear, develop relational skills, experience Christ’s peace, and live from the renewed heart and identity God provides. Consider this:
Sacramental Living is Our True Vocation
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, thatyou may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light….” – 1 Peter 2:9
Jesus united priesthood and royalty to fulfill the Father’s dream – to bring forth a new humanity, sacred stewards of both creation and new creation. This is our true vocation: to receive God’s good gifts with reverence, discern their purpose, and add our love and labor to wisely create families, gardens, farms, communities, cities, nations, and innovative provisions and solutions. Then we lift it all back to Him, trusting He will bless and multiply our offerings. As royal priests, we stand in the gap-cultivating beauty, justice, and mercy in a world aching to be rescued by the Christ of God. We do not offer him wheat and grapes for the sacred meal, but bread and wine!
Embedding a Better Life Narrative
Seeing how God sees you can become the dominant renewed storyline within your heart. We can now walk as “Children of the Light.”
“You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:5
Before Christ, all humanity walked only in moonlit night-dim reflections, shadows, pining, and longing. Then came the dawn. A blazing sun rose–too bright to behold, too warm to ignore. It seemed like the end, but no-a radiant beginning. Christ’s first coming was the rising sun, and we are born of that day. No longer children of shadow, we walk in the warmth and clarity of His dawn. The night is over. The light has come.
