…As For You and Your House…

Happy Sunday!

You may know the verse of Scripture I’m using in the title of my blog today. It’s from Joshua 24:15:

But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15(b) ESV

The photo I’m using today is from an article I recently wrote for a magazine. For those of you who may not have had a chance to read the article pictured in this post, here is the link if you have the desire to read more: https://nicciekliegl.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/August-2020-Magazine-Reduced.pdf

Niccie Kliegl is a friend of mine who has recently created a free new online magazine for women called As For Me and My House. Here is a link if you’d like to check it out and subscribe. https://fulfill-your-legacy.ck.page/41f5ab7dc9

For many of us life has changed quite a bit in 2020! Many families are forced to be together at home more than usual, for better or for worse. There are opportunities for progress with these circumstances, also opportunities for more stress and stain.

It’s a great opportunity to solidify how “You and Your House” will live!

I encourage you to read the article and think about your values and strategies for life in your home – this is the key verse of Scripture that Michael and I made the cornerstone of our home:

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the Prophets.” – Matthew 22:37040 ESV

I hope you’ll read the article and I’d love to hear your thoughts about how you are choosing to live in your household. We can encourage each other in these times and grow from things we share with one another!

Warmly,

Terri
